Wood and natural stone are natural and heterogeneous materials and therefore every Yume Collection piece of furniture will have its very own and unique texture. No Yume Collection design product will ever have the exact same appearance. Slight changes in color as well as darker and lighter spots are to be expected, which is a part of the material experience. Each product is inspected carefully for material faults that surpass inconsistencies of natural materials before packaging and shipping. Although the shape of the product is precisely defined, the manual finishing and the general material behavior may result in slight geometric differences. The dimensions in the product description are therefore not guaranteed and can sometimes differ by a few millimeters.

Wood and natural stone are natural materials that respond to changes in humidity and temperature by expanding and contracting. In rare occasions these changes can be noticeable in the physical appearance of the products. Although every care is taken to ensure the pieces are able to handle temperature and humidity changes, the conditions of the surroundings can influence its appearance. Being exposed to high changes in humidity or temperature, the materials can experience small movements and cracks as they adjust – this is not a fault, but a natural occurrence and part of the design intention. Nevertheless, we advise you to keep the product in consistent, stable conditions to minimize these effects. We also advise you to keep the pieces of furniture away from heat sources such as radiators or ovens, as well as areas with long periods of direct sun light. Exposure to UV light over long periods can have an effect on the color of the materials.
